COVID-19 Policies & Procedures

All patients, please make yourself familiar with our COVID-19 Policies & Procedures. For the safety and health of everyone, our providers are fully vaccinated for COVID-19.  We are not able to see you in clinic if you are feeling sick or have had a known exposure to someone with COVID-19.

We wish you all good health!

For the safety of all our patients & providers, please do not come for In-Person treatments when:

  • Feeling sick

  • Known exposure to someone who has had a positive COVID-19 test result (more details below)

  • Tested positive for COVID-19 and have not yet completed our recommended isolation period (click on the button below)

  • Advised to self-quarantine because of exposure to someone with COVID-19

When to Pause your Treatments:

Feeling Sick

  • Fully vaccinated for COVID-19: Must be symptom-free for at least 3 days and have a negative COVID-19 test result before returning to the clinic.

  • Not full vaccinated for COVID-19: Must wait 14 days from the initial on-set of symptoms plus remain symptom-free for at least 3 days before returning to the clinic with either a negative or positive COVID-19 test result.

Exposed to Someone with COVID-19

  • Fully vaccinated for COVID-19: Must have a negative COVID-19 test to return to clinic. If you live with the person who has tested positive, you will need to wait to return to the clinic until that person’s isolation period is complete.

  • Not fully vaccinated for COVID-19: Even with a negative COVID-19 test and feel healthy, you should self-quarantine for 14 days after exposure to the virus and may not come to the clinic during that time.

What to do if you are Sick:

Get a COVID-19 test even if you are not feeling "that sick"

  • Contact your primary care provider as well as self-quarantine

Contact your acupuncture provider

  • We will cancel your in-person appointment and reschedule it as an online appointment

  • Depending on your vaccination status for COVID-19 will determine our recommendations on when you may resume in-person visits.

COVID-19 Preparedness Plan

Our COVID-19 Preparedness Plan follows guidelines issued by the Center for Disease Control (CDC) and Santa Cruz County as well as federal OSHA standards pertaining to COVID-19.

We Wish You All Good Health!
